This highly carved panel is from France and dates to the late 1800’s. This was once a panel on a large French cabinet. It is made from walnut finished to a warm dark (almost black) color. The carvings are very well done and very intricate. Note that there is a slight chip on the bottom edge of the panel (see photos). Overall it is in good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Dimensions: 26.25" tall, 10.75" wide and 1" thick. (9138 10)
