This antique chest is from France and it dates from the mid to late 1800's. It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm dark oak color. The carvings are highly detailed and very intricate. There is also a lock on the lid that works as it should. This chest is in very good antique condition with minor nicks, discolorations and scratches. Note that there are several woodworm holes throughout the piece (see photos). Dimensions: 62.25" wide, 15.5" deep and 36" high. (1329)
