This highly carved panel is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It was once part of the decorations in a French church. The carving in the center is made from solid walnut and the wood has been left raw. The frame is made from solid oak and is bare wood as well. Note that there are repairs to the center panel and new pieces have been added. There is a lot of woodworm damage to the panel but the piece is structurally sound. Overall this piece is in excellent antique condition with the usual amount damage from a piece this old. Dimensions: 89.5" tall, 43.25" wide and 3" deep. (2720)
