This nicely carved chest of drawers is from France and it dates to the early 1900's. It is made from solid and veneered oak and finished to a warm dark color. This is a well made, clean chest with nicely detailed carvings. The dovetailed drawers open and close smoothly and are very sturdy. There is a key and the locks work as they should. Note the cracks in the top that were filled at some point (see photos). Overall this chest of drawers is in very good antique condition with only minor imperfections. Dimensions: 37.25" wide, 33.5" tall and 17.75" deep (front to back). (1527)
