This beautiful renaissance cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It is made from solid walnut and finished to a warm medium color. The carvings in the piece are very intricate and nicely detailed. There is a key and both locks work as they should. Note that there are several woodworm holes on the base of the piece (see photos). Overall this cabinet is in very good antique condition with minor chips, scratches and discolorations consistent with its age. Dimensions: 71.5" high (to the top of the crest), 36.75" wide and 14" deep. (1316)
