This pair of Breton nightstands is from France and dates to the early 1900's. They are made of solid chestnut finished to a warm dark color. The carvings on the doors are very intricate and very well done. The marble is in excellent condition- free from any chips or cracks. Note that there are a few scratches in the marble from their many years of use. There are also a few woodworm holes in the legs of the nightstands (see photos). Overall these nightstands are in excellent antique condition and ready for use. Dimensions for each: 34" tall, 15" deep and 17.25" wide (front to back). (1345)
