This antique gothic desk/library table is from France and it dates to the early 1900's. It is made from solid chestnut and walnut veneers finished to a warm dark color. It has carved elements and the legs are a very unusual "X" style. This desk is in very good antique condition with minor nicks, discolorations and scratches. Note the top of the desk has a large gap in the veneer that has been filled and some stains (see photos). The top of the desk is also slightly wavy and not perfectly flat (see photos). Dimensions: 39.5" wide, 25.75" deep and 29.5" high. (1335)
