This carved panel is from France and dates to the late 1800’s. This was once a door panel on a French cabinet. Note that the frame of the panel has been refinished. It is made from solid walnut and finished to a warm medium color. The carvings on it are very intricate and very well done. Overall it is in excellent condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there are some termite holes and woodworm holes that are inactive on the backside of the panel (see photos). Dimensions: 25.5" tall, 18.25" wide and 2" deep. (1320 1)
