This highly carved Gothic crest is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It was originally part of a French piece of furniture. It is made from solid walnut and finished to a warm dark color. Overall it is in good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there are several large cracks in the crest and some woodworm holes (see photos). Dimensions: 45.25" wide, 24.25" tall and 4.5" thick. (2534)
