This chariot/wagon wheel is from France it dates the 1500's, possibly earlier. It is made out of solid oak and iron. There are several woodworm holes and cracks in the wood but nothing that affects the structure. There is a small section missing at the bottom creating a flat spot that prevents the wheel from rolling (see photos). The iron is rusted in several places, which you would expect from a piece this age. Overall this wheel is in good antique condition and would make an impressive display piece.
