This large crest/mantel is from France and dates to the late 1800’s. This was once the top of a large French cabinet. It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color. The carvings are very well done and very intricate. Overall it is in good antique condition with minor nicks and scratches. Not that there are some larger chips in the trim (see photos). Dimensions: 58.5" wide, 14" tall and 5" thick. (6579 5)
