This impressive oak bookcase/display cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. This is a beautiful piece with characteristic hunting carvings. The solid oak woodwork is deeply hand carved throughout and finished to a warm dark color. Note that the glass in the door was replaced at some point. Overall this cabinet is in very good antique condition: sturdy and solid and with minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age. There are 2 keys and the locks work as they should. Dimensions: 86.5" tall, 42.25" wide and 23.25" deep. It is 39" high to the deck of the cabinet. (6475)
