Large French Antique Gothic Revival Solid Oak Church Confessional with Carvings

This spectacular Gothic Revival confessional is from France and dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is made from solid oak finished to a warm medium finish. The confessional can be transported and installed easily since it breaks down into more manageable sections. This piece has been used for many years and does have signs of wear-nicks and chips here and there. There is minimal woodworm damage to some of the panels and there is a burn/stain on the floor (see photos). Unfortunately the kneelers and the L shaped shelves next to the windows are missing (see photos). More than likely they were misplaced in their journey here to the United States. Note that there are also cut outs on one side where it would fit up against the floor molding. Overall this confessional is in excellent condition with minor imperfections.
