This antique bronze sculpture is from France and dates to the early 1900's. It is by the artist Raymond Charley Ireland. The nude is highly detailed and is very life-like. The bronze has a beautiful patina with sight verdigris. The bronze appears to have been gilded at some point but almost all of the gilding has worn off. We guarantee that it is solid bronze and not spelter or some other base metal. Overall this nude is in very good antique condition with the usual signs of wear.
