This elegant screen is from France and dates to the late 1800's. As you can see, the beautiful images on each panel coordinate to make this intricate scene. It is unusually pretty when backlit and could make spectacular room divider. The glass is in very good antique condition with only a few imperfections. Note that there are several small cracks in the glass but no missing pieces (see photos). The walnut frames are in good condition as well and only have minor water stains in the wood. Dimensions: 42.5" high, 54.75" wide (when completely flat) and .75" thick at the frame. Each panel is 18.25" wide. (3342)
