This large Gothic cabinet is from France and dates to the early 1900's. The exterior is made from walnut and the interior is made from oak. The woodwork is very intricate with excellent hand carved detail. The doors open and close smoothly and the lock works. This cabinet is in very good condition with only minor chips and scratches consistent with its age. Note that the top of the cabinet once had a crest, and there are several repairs to the edges (see photos). Dimensions: 67.5" tall, 48.25" wide and 21.25" deep (front to back). (6580)
