This finely carved antique panel is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It is made from chestnut with good detail and finished to a warm dark color. Overall it is in good condition- straight and solid with the usual amount of nicks and scratches from its many years of gentle use. Note that there are a few woodworm holes on the backside of the panel (see photos). Dimensions: 25.5" tall, 17.5" wide and 1" deep. (1376)
