This highly carved Gothic crest is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It was originally part of a French piece of furniture. It is made from solid walnut and oak finished to a warm dark color. Overall it is in good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there are nail holes on the sides of the crest (see photos). Dimensions: 36.25" wide, 18.25" tall and 3.75" thick. (9138 4)
