This large antique gothic chest is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm medium/dark oak color. The carvings are very well done and highly detailed. Note that there are several woodworm holes in the chest (see photos). Overall this chest is in very good antique condition with minor nicks, discolorations and scratches. Dimensions: 46" wide, 20.75" deep and 26.75" high. (1340)
