With two decades of experience, we've developed a great working relationship with a superior antique craftsman who builds these bars exclusively for us. He starts with fine antique cabinets and modifies them to meet modern needs for beautiful and functional bars.
Our converted antiques are available in a variety of styles and configurations: see our other listings for current offerings. The modifications preserve the full look of antiques: the visible parts are genuinely old. Modifications to the hidden parts and the structure yield proper bar height, an open rear structure, hidden drawers and a back bar of proper proportions. The structure is also strengthened to stand up to regular use.
This particular bar is made from several antique Renaissance Revival cabinets from France. It is a unique design with great flexibility for home use. For regular use, move the bar forward and the wall mounted back bar can be set up with your own sink, kegerator, wine refrigerator or other equipment under it. When you need the space, simply move the bar under the back bar and you have a lovely space saving credenza. The wood is walnut.
You will find this bar to be of superior quality with all components in excellent antique condition. Of course, you will see the minor nicks and scratches that are always present in genuine antiques.
Dimensions: 94" high, 74" wide, 25.5" deep (front to back) 43.5" to the deck of the bar.
Delivery/Shipping: We use one of several carriers depending on your location. All are white glove (fully insured, blanket wrap, all handling by hand with experienced antique specialists and delivery to the location where you want in your home). Delivery will take 3 to 6 weeks depending on your location. Charges are as follows.
Zone 1: $100 (Portland, Oregon metro area)
Zone 2: $450 (Washington, Oregon and California)
Zone 3: $600 (Continental USA, all states except Zones 1, 2 and 4)
Zone 4: Request a quote from us (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine)

Professional Shipping Services: We use top quality packing materials-new boxes and new or clean recycled Styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap. We pack and ship promptly. We fully disclose shipping costs-we may not always be the cheapest, but you can count on your valuable purchase arriving quickly and undamaged.
Delivery/Shipping: We use one of several carriers depending on your location and the item purchased. Shipping is as quoted for smaller items or as stated below for heavier freight items.
All freight items are white glove (fully insured, blanket wrap, all handling by hand with experienced antique specialists and delivery to the location where you want in your home). Delivery for freight items will take 3 to 6 weeks depending on your location.
IMPORTANT: Delivery charges for freight items will be a separate transaction and will not show in the checkout. You will be sent a link via email to pay for the shipping charges within 24 hours.
We welcome Local Inspections and Pickups: If you live in the area, you’re welcome to come by to check out items we’re auctioning and to pick up your purchases with no shipping or pickup charges.
