This highly carved cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. The cabinet is made from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color. The woodcarving of the Virgin Mary on the door of the cabinet is very detailed and very well done. It comes with a key and the lock works as it should. Overall this cabinet is in very good antique condition. Note that there are chips, scratches and large cracks in the top that are typical of antiques (see photos).
