This headboard is from France and dates to the early 1900's. It is made from solid chestnut and finished to a warm dark color. The details are very well carved and the overall look of the headboard is very impressive. There are holes on the bottom corners of the headboard that have been filled (see photos). This headboard has a bracket installed on the backside for easy and secure hanging (see photos). Overall piece is in very good condition with only minor chips and scratches consistent with its age. Dimensions: The headboard is 61" tall, 60.75" wide and 2.25" deep. (625 24)
