This highly carved panel is from France and dates to the late 1800’s. This was once a door on a large French cabinet. It is made from solid walnut and finished to a warm dark color. The panel is unusually pretty and the carvings are very well done. Note that where the lock once was has been filled (see photos). Overall this piece is in excellent condition with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age. Dimensions: 25.5" tall, 19.5" wide and 1.5" deep. (1343 1)
