This framed antique drawing of Jesus and Mary Magdalene is from Belgium and is dated June 1870. It is by the famous Belgian artist Theodore-Joseph Canneel. This drawing is a study for one of the many frescos Canneel painted in St Anne's Church in Ghent. Other studies done for this Church can be found in the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent. Overall this drawing does show signs of age but has been beautifully preserved. Dimensions: 37.5" tall, 20.75" wide and 1.25" thick in its frame. (3533)
