This oil on panel painting is from Belgium and dates to the late 1800's. It is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear. It is a study of the bronze statue of Simon Stevin in Brugge, Belgium. The frame appears to be original and shows minor signs of wear. Unfortunately we do not know the artist. However, the painting itself is well executed and will stay vibrant for many years to come. Dimensions: 16.25" tall, 10.5" wide and 1" thick in its frame.
