This salvaged Gothic Revival pulpit basket is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It was once in a large French church. It is in fair antique condition with several missing pieces in the structure and the ornament. There are also several woodworm holes throughout the piece (see photos). Despite these imperfections the carvings are well done and the majority of the basket is in good condition. This piece can be an excellent start to a new project or be left the way it is.
