These impressively carved wall sconces/shelves are from France and date to the late 1800's. They are beautifully made works of art carved from oak and chestnut. Both are very easy to mount with the brackets attached to the back. They are in very good antique condition with minor chips and scratches consistent with their age. Note the slightly larger chip on one of the shelves (see photos). Dimensions for each: 15.5" high, 16.5" wide and 9" deep. (1722)
