This beautifully carved Louis XV fireplace surround is from France and it dates to the mid 1900's. It is made from solid oak finished to a warm dark color. The carvings are excellent and have quite a bit of detail. Overall this impressive fireplace surround is in good condition, straight and solid with usual signs of wear. Dimensions: 36.5" tall, 46.75" wide and 6" deep (front to back). The fireplace opening is 23.5" tall (at the lowest point in the ornament) and 36.25" wide. (6531)
