This impressive antique tabernacle is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It is made of solid oak that has been carved, gilded and painted. The interior of the tabernacle is metal lined and has fabric covering the walls. As you can see in the photos, it shows many chips in the paint and signs of wear (see photos). Unusually, there are two locks on the door and the locks works as they should. Dimensions: 21.5" high, 16.5" wide and 13.25" deep (front to back). (715)
