This pair of gothic pews is from France and dates to the late 1800's. They are made from solid oak that has been finished to a warm medium color. There are several wood worm holes in both benches but the holes appear to be superficial (see photos). There is also a repair to one of the arms (see photos). Overall they are in excellent condition with minor nicks and scratches. Both benches have holes in the feet from where they were originally screwed to the floor. The benches become stiffer when they are mounted to the floor. Dimensions for each: 79.25" wide, 42.75" tall and 21.5" deep. (7505)
