This highly carved Breton cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. The cabinet is made from solid chestnut and finished to a warm dark color. The woodcarving is extensive throughout the entire piece, and very deep. It comes with a key and the lock works as it should. Overall this cabinet is in very good antique condition. Note that there are minor nicks and several woodworm holes on the backside of this piece (see photos). Dimensions: 71.5" high, 31.25" wide and 18.75" deep. (1339)
